WITCH WEATHER

Our first full length album and our first self-titled release

This album has been a longtime coming, but has been received with a lot of enthusiasm. There are a lot of dark themes in this one so if you don't wanna be sad definitely don't look at the lyrics :'). But themes range from existential dread, to anger, to maybe just a little bit of hope as you listen through from start to finish.

HAZY

The third single to release off our album!

This song is about Kaitlynn hating someone. And that someone is herself. We love seasonal depression, amirite ladies. Hazy was the catalyst to the album going in a 80s goth direction. Before Witch Weather’s original drummer left the band, the album was going in a much different direction, but after that Hazy inspired Kaitlynn and Juliann to lean fully into their 80s goth side.

DON'T NEED

The second single to release off our album!

In this track Kaitlynn and Juliann scream about every inconvenience they’ve experienced in the last several weeks. A short, fast paced, punk song with gritty screams. Instrumentals were written over the course of a day, maybe even an afternoon. The album version differs slightly from the single version. The album version is faster and heavier than the single version.

NEW MOON

Witch weathers first EP!

Thematically, the EP focuses on slightly more escapist concepts than past releases with the overarching theme being three witches performing rituals over the course of a night.

Written mostly over the course of quarantine in 2020. Experimentation was had musically, deep reflections were made personally, and an all around spiral into self identity and place in the universe was unavoidable.

SPIRIT BOX/MMV

Ask Kaitlynn what MMV stands for at a show maybe she'll tell you

Two songs that were written approximately a year before coming out of the closet. Originally recorded in 2018 as a part of a free studio session, these two recordings were performed by Kaitlynn Autumn with Micki Dawson on drums. Four other songs were recorded at this time and may or may not ever see the light of day.
